Eligibility for Nursery Level School Teaching: Candidates should clear Class 12th in any stream from a recognized board. Apart from this, candidates should also study Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) programme.
Eligibility for Primary School Level Teaching: For primary school (classes 1st to 5th) teaching, candidates should clear graduation with minimum 50% - 60% marks from a recognized university. Apart from this, candidates should also possess a B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree.
OR
Candidates should clear Class 12th in any stream with at least 50% - 60% marks from a recognized board. Along with this, candidates should also possess a B.El.Ed. (Bachelor of Elementary Education) degree.
Eligibility for Middle School Level Teaching: For middle school (classes 6th to 8th) teaching, candidates should clear graduation with minimum 50% - 60% marks from a recognized university. Apart from this, candidates should also obtain a B.Ed. degree.
Eligibility for High School Level Teaching: For high school (classes 9th to 12th) teaching, candidates should clear post-graduation from a recognized university with at least 50%-60% aggregate marks. Apart from this, candidates should also possess a B.Ed. degree.
Eligibility for College/ University Level Teaching: To become a lecturer in colleges and universities candidates should possess a post-graduation or doctorate degree from a recognized university. Apart from this, candidates should also clear UGC NET exam.
